Our story

Thirty years helping organizations navigate change. And what we learned along the way.

We’ve spent 30 years helping people and organizations navigate change. Culture work, with two decades of OCAI-online assessments and consulting. Leadership development. Organizational transformation. Hundreds of organizations, across industries, across continents.

For a long time, that was enough. Fix the culture, develop the leaders, and the organization finds its way.

Then something shifted.

Even organizations with strong, adaptive cultures were getting blindsided. Market disruptions they didn’t see coming. AI reshaping their industry faster than their strategy could keep up. Assumptions that had held for decades suddenly breaking down.

The culture work prepared them for change. It didn’t prepare them for the speed and category of changes coming their way: unexpected disruptions and improbable scenarios happening in reality. Welcome to the AI-accelerated world.

That’s when we expanded our work into strategic foresight: helping leadership teams anticipate external disruption before it hits, not just adapt after the fact.

Next, AI started its exponential growth in capabilities and accelerated everything. Productivity gains are nice, but what about strategic AI, disrupting business models?

That’s where the SCAI framework came from. Three pillars, Strategy, Culture, and AI readiness, determine whether a company can adapt or gets stuck. The SCAI Profile measures it. The SCAI Program builds it.

We work with leadership teams in organizations where strategy, culture, and AI readiness are leadership-level conversations. Our primary conversation partners are HR Directors, L&D and OD professionals, COOs, consultants, and general managers who recognize the need and bring this work to their team.

What we believe

The work isn't the technology. It's the human operating system.

Most transformation efforts fail because they focus on technology and structure and leave the “human operating system” untouched. Strategy doesn’t execute itself. Culture doesn’t change through a presentation. AI tools don’t create value if the organization can’t absorb and adapt to what they surface.

The real work is upgrading how your leadership team thinks, decides, and learns. Adapting strategy based on foresight intelligence. Engaging the company and building the habits and culture that make change stick.

Marcella has spent her career at the intersection of culture, change, and organizational resilience. She is the author of two books on organizational culture and change. She co-founded the former OCAI Online, where more than 200,000 people have assessed their organizational culture.

After becoming certified by the Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies, she integrated strategic foresight into her practice, combining inside-out culture work with outside-in anticipation of change.

Marcel brings three decades of experience in technology, operations, and online platforms, alongside coaching, personal development, and change. Where Marcella focuses on culture and foresight methodology, Marcel focuses on processes, AI integration, and the operational side of transformation.

He co-founded the Positive Culture Academy and the Strategic Foresight and Futures Community, and has worked alongside Marcella to help hundreds of organizations build the capacity to adapt.
